i´ve got a problem, I use inkscape on mac and sudenly I cant make elipses and scuares idont know what to do and im trying everything

yes, was fine but one day I was finishing a vector making the eyes. also in the same vector I used before so I dont know

So what does happen? You can't use the tools at all or they don't do anything or what?

it makes like an invisible shape, wich i cant fill and when i try to select it desapears

The object's opacity could be set to zero. You can check that in the fill and stroke dialogue (ctrl + shift + f).

It could be other things, but this seems most likely.

Frankly, the way inkscape uses the last opacity setting - but only sometimes - can be somewhat confusing. I'm glad to have helped.

Hey, thanks for this.. took a couple hours of trial and error (probably because I'm making a Derpy) but I finally got her some decent eyes...

of course it's a comic and now I have to eye about 4 other Derpies but at least I know how now. Thanks.
