I worked hard on this one. I tried making it look more three dimensional, but still stained glass-like. I also sorta abandoned the idea of shading each cell individually. Maybe it's for the best... And in the end - what came out of it all?
Polygons?
Some intense paper craft?
That I don't know.

I think I should really simplify it. It's kinda undoable... But sure, tackle at will. Will you use real gemstones for the cutiemark, too?

Yeah, it does have a ton of facets, but I love the effect it gives. And probably not for the cutiemark... not sure how to go about that!

Well, you could make it by doing only the lighter blue and substitute the darker with the frame. That'd give it the colour, feeling of a cut gem and it'd still be large enough to be doable. You'd probably still have to put a hexagon in the middle, though.
Next time, I'll try to create the effect with less polygons.

Very nice. :D I know Rarity has curly hair but it could've been a bit simpler on the stained glass lines even though you planned on mading it a bit 3D

I just noticed it has about eight times the lines the Rainbow Dash picture has. Oh well, Rarity is my favourite, after all.

Well, I'd say I am more a Twilight type, organized, yet messy at times. But other times, I focus on the tiniest details and disregard the larger picture.
